His Holiness Bhakti Ashraya Vaishnava Swami, born in the year 1961. He came in contact with ISKCON and Bhagwat Gita As It Is, while working as manager in a company in 1984. Inspired by the teachings of Srila Prabhupada, he decided to dedicate his life, hence joined ISKCON Vrindavan in 1985. Since then he served many important projects and preached the teachings of Bhagwat Gita, specially in youth. He served as Sankitan in-charge for many years then as vice-president at ISKCON Vrindavan. He inspire many people by his simplicity and behaviour. In the month of Kartik, 2013, honoring his dedication and devotion, He was awarded the order of Sannyasa (Renunciation) in ISKCON.
He sings Vaishnav bhajans melodiously and beautifully with explaination of their purports. Maharaj focuses on establishing loving relationship with devotees and everyone else. He is famous for his neterian lectures in various language especially in Hindi, English, Orriya & Bengali and deep understanding of vedic vaisnava literatures. He’s well known for his simplicity and humility. Currently he is serving ISKCON Vrindavan temple management and travelling across India to spread Krishna Consciousness.
