Bhakti Prachar Parivrajak Swami

His Holiness Bhakti Prachar Parivrajak Swami, a tridandi sannyasi and dedicated disciple of HH Jayapataka Swami, was born in the sacred land of West Bengal, India. With a Bachelor’s degree in Commerce from St. Xavier’s College, Kolkata (1993), and qualifications as a Chartered Accountant and Cost Accountant, he brought worldly expertise to his spiritual calling. Embracing Krishna Consciousness in 1994, he fully dedicated himself to ISKCON’s mission by 1996, serving at the global headquarters in Sridham Mayapur.

His service in Mayapur has been exemplary, holding pivotal roles such as Deputy Director and Vice-Chairman of the Mayapur Administrative Council. As Chairman of the Food for Life program, he expanded its reach, embodying the principle of annadana to nourish both body and soul. His profound understanding of Gaudiya Vaishnava philosophy shines through his preaching, inspiring devotees worldwide with his erudite presentations of the Bhagavad Gita and Srimad Bhagavatam. He pioneered transformative outreach initiatives, including College Preaching and Bhakti Vriksha, fostering vibrant devotee communities in Mayapur and other centres of ISKCON.

As a global traveling preacher, he carries the message of Sanatan Dharma to every corner of the world, strengthening the faith of practitioners and guiding new souls toward Krishna. He serves as a member of the top management for ISKCON India, overseeing various states in Bharat. Additionally, as Chairman of ISKCON Bhagavata Mahavidyalaya at Sri Govardhan Dham, he nurtures the next generation of scholars and devotees, deepening their study of sacred texts. His life exemplifies surrender, service, and devotion to Srila Prabhupada’s vision and the guidance of his spiritual master, HH Jayapataka Swami.
