 Hara Kanta Prabhu was born in Uruguay, in 1950, and joined ISKCON there in 1980. He moved to Brazil very soon, where he is been living since then. He’s been a brahmacari since the beginning also. His leadership skills soon arised, and he’s been leading several ISKCON projects for decades now. He is wide known as a very austere devotee and very attached to the Krsna conciousness standards as they were instructed and showed personally by Srila Prabhupada. He always manages with emphasis in book distribution (his projects always depend on sankirtana, financially), and prasadam distribution. His temples distributed more than a half million books, only in the last 20 years. Nowadays he manages four temples in South Brazil at the cities of Curitiba, Porto Alegre, Florianópolis and Itajaí, as said, always depending on sankirtana. This four temples together also distribute more than 2.000 prasadam plates weekly. |
